You can reach a broader audience than your followers with Reel videos that appear on Instagram’s Explore tab. You can also add your Reels stories but in this case, your video won’t be shown in Explore tab. It will disappear after 24 hours, just like stories.
Once recorded, you can select the target audience to share your video with and will be available to everyone who has joined the platform.
Various AR effects of Reels enable you to make your videos stand out with a unique touch. To use these effects, you simply have to open Reels camera, click on ‘effects’, and then on ‘AR effects’. How to Create Instagram Reels?

- First of all, check if you have received the update head of the new update’s availability on App store and Google Play store. If it is available, connect your phone to Wi-Fi, and install the update.
- Once it is updated successfully, go to the Instagram camera.
- At the bottom of the camera, select Reels.
- Tap on Audio option.
- Select a song from the Instagram music library.
- Alternatively, you can use your original audio by recording your video, just like TikTok.
- Make your Reel interesting and unique with AR effects as mentioned above. Set the timer to record any clip hands-free.
- Increase or decrease the speed part of your Reel with the option given.
